I`ll be flying into Nashville early in the week, then making my way east. I prefer to camp, especially in such a beautiful part of the country! I think the weather will be perfect at that time, too.
I am looking at Norris Dam, which has some great campsites. It looks to be about a half-hour commute into downtown.

Hey Austin...
That is right up my alley.
I`m trying to avoid renting a car, but would be happy to pay more than my share for any of the costs (gas, rental, etc.) and share the driving.
I`d be flying in from Montréal, Canada, still unsure if into Nashville (or Chattanooga, I believe it was).
Norris Dam looks like a sweet spot.
